A465.com is a website for everyone living, working or learning in the Heads of the Valleys. It is designed to keep you up-to-date on the changes happening to education provision in the area.
A465.com is a partnership between the Welsh Government, Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council, Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, Coleg Gwent, Merthyr College, the University of Newport, University of Glamorgan and UHOVI (Universities Heads of the Valley Institute).
The Heads of the Valleys Education Programme (HOVEP) is a unique partnership between the Welsh Government, local authorities, the further and higher education sectors in the Heads of the Valleys area. Its mission is to make the Heads of the Valleys a high skilled region for the 21st Century.
A465.com is the website that the Welsh Government has created to communicate the changes in education that are coming to the area as part of the programme and signpost visitors to further information.
The aim is that the Heads of the Valleys will become a rich, dynamic network of communities helping to drive the success of South East Wales.
